My name is Zach Heckart and I am a senior at Washington State University. I was born and raised in Yakima, Washington with my parents and older sister. Outside of school I work for my fathers construction company, TTC Construction and I hope to continue the family business and own the company one day. I am majoring in Public Relations through the Murrow college of Communication. I am a very laid back person, but I would also consider myself a leader. I have always been taught that if you want something done right, then you should do it yourself. I am a very independent person, but I also value team work. My main hobby and interest is racing motocross which I have done since I was 6-years-old. Not only is it my passion, but it is my families passion as well. My childhood consisted of traveling all over the country to race the top amateurs in my class. Motocross has shaped me into the man I am today and many of my values stem from motocross. Values such as competing, staying tough and out working your competitor by whatever means necessary. I hope to continue to live through these values throughout my life and hopefully share them with others as well. .
