ever since I was old enough to remember anything I could remember being around dirt bikes. My whole family Raes from my great great grandfather all the way down to my father. Motocross has taught me life goals that no other sport or experience could have given me. It has taught me how to overcome adversity through injuries, how to stay mentally strong when you feel like you can do nothing right and how to bounce back up after getting knocked down. these are all values and lessons that I carry with me throughout my life. I hope to show my audience these experiences and how they have shaped me into who I am today. Many people that do not race motocross look at the sport and think, how hard can it really be? In my opinion along with most of the racers I know it is the most physical and mentally demanding sport in the world. I hope to give insight to my audience on why I think this way. My goal is not to share my old racing stories and re-live my glory days, but my goal is to show my audience how racing has given me life values and goals that I still carry with me to this day. A great podcast that I listen to weekly is “Moto Monday” where a local professional racer from Washington talks about everything motocross. He does not focus on race results or who is leading in the points, but he talks about life lessons and how motocross breads the toughest individuals. The way that I think about politics, religion, education and values have all seemed from individuals that I have met over my life at the race tracks. If I can give my audience a first person view on these experiences then I believe I will be able to stem out and talk about other issues in our world such as politics. This blog is far from a racing analyst website, but it is more of a story of values and lessons that have shaped me into who I am today.
